12 Things Every Guy Wants
Every guy, deep down, wants to be a real guy. We want to be more like John Wayne than Alan Alda; we want to be Tom Hanks at the end of Saving Private Ryan. And the real guy in each one of us wants the following twelve things.
Every guy wants to (in no particular order):
- Be in a caper or a heist;
- Play in a band;
- Play a professional sport;
- Have meaningless sex (even if it’s with his wife);
- Hit it big gambling;
- Heroically save a woman or a baby;
- Drive too fast;
- Survive a dangerous situation;
- Make fun of things without people groaning;
- Defeat the Nazis;
- Run a cult (see #4);
- Not have to admit liking something soft, sentimental, or girlie.
