- Boston won; the Yanks didn’t lose. The Yanks didn’t play.
- Elephant In the Room: Annie Leibovitz’s photograph of Miley Cyrus is not a good photograph. I take better photographs of drunks at the fair.
- Best Statement of the Morning: “She hit the pole harder than we realized.” (Made regarding a nutty employee with a glass eye and a limp.)
- Sirius radio, which I listen to at my desk, has a new Neil Diamond channel. I lasted 5 songs, which might be a record.

- There are grown men in black suits who feed their families and pay mortgages by selling adult diapers. Turns out it’s a cut-throat business.
- According to the adult diaper guy, it’s not a cut-throat business. It’s a shitty business. Ha! I get jokes.
